It's great to see "integrated nesting bricks / boxes" included in Policy SNE2 section 13. The focus should be on integral Swift bricks - they are a universal nesting brick, suitable for all the other bird species mentioned in section 13. They are suitable for all developments, and should follow best practice guidance such as BS 42021:2022, with regard to location and numbers per dwelling. Universal Swift nest bricks should be installed in addition to bat boxes.
