All new development, housing or otherwise, should be on brownfield sites. It's simply not good enough to say green belt land is protected when Sandwell hardly has any. No development should take place on greenfield sites at all for the health and well being of current and future residents. There are plenty of brownfield sites if you get more proactive. I walk past unused brownfield sites all the time - don't be lazy find them. 100% of development should be on brownfield sites and no green field sites should be destroyed.
Also finding how to comment was very difficult.
